The Sun Rack cabinet family helps deliver total quality cabinet solutions to customers by enabling them to optimize their rack mounted products by placing more products in each cabinet. This in turn relates to an optimized data center by being able to place more cabinets in the data center. The simple answer to how Sun is accomplishing this is the result of the Power Distribution System (PDS) option. The PDS provides 32 amperes of current to power a full rack of products. This helps customers to better utilize data center floor space and helps to reduce administration costs due the co-location of more products than was previously possible with smaller and less powerful cabinets.The Sun Rack 1000-38 is designed to give customers maximum RU spaces with a smaller footprint. The rack is available in the standard or alloy design with various power options.
