The Sun Fire V240 features up to two UltraSPARC IIIi processors, up to 8 GB of memory, and up to four disks. It also comes with four Ethernet ports, three PCI slots, two redundant power supplies, a system configuration card, advanced remote management, Sun One software, and an optional SSL card. The Sun Fire V240 server maximizes compute power and data center space, boosts high-speed network connectivity, and provides a secure but flexible platform for expansion.
