The Sun IB NEM is a 10-port Network Express Module (NEM) that provides one InfiniBand DDR 4X connection to each Sun Blade Server Module. Each 4X DDR port supports a single x8 PCI Express (PCIe) connection to its Server Module, providing full-duplex data transfers of up to 16Gbps.The NEM supports 10 independent InfiniBand Host Channel Adapter (HCA) ports operating at up to 20Gbps (DDR) speed. It is also backward compatible with 10Gbps (SDR) devices.
