Utilizing eight SummitLink backplane channels per device, the Summit Virtual Chassis can be stacked to support between 16 and 64 Gbps of switch fabric capacity. As a result, a Summit Virtual Chassis stack can support switch configurations with up to 32 full-duplex Gigabit Ethernet ports or 384 full-duplex auto-negotiating 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports.
