Every year, Food for Greater Elgin holds its Change for Hunger Campaign.

Local schools team up with corporate partners to make a difference in the lives of people with food dependency.

This year, Elarasys Worldwide partnered with Einstein Academy in Elgin, Illinois to help raise $31,824.

Food for Greater Elgin, is a client-choice pantry serving Elgin, South Elgin, and East Dundee. Participants shop for the groceries they need, giving them not only choice but greater dignity in the process.

"Half of the individuals served by Food for Greater Elgin are children which makes this program that much more meaningful," says Elarasys President Tom Hansen. "We are proud to be able to give back to the community that has been our home for nearly two decades."

Food for Greater Elgin currently provides stability and promotion of independence to more than 1,200 households per month, equating to nearly 6,000 individuals. Clients choose from a variety of products including meat, fresh produce, dairy, deli and shelf-stable items.
