The Remote Management Unit/Specialist feature provides a Web-based browser interface through the Remote Management Unit (RMU) Ethernet port for remote library management. The RMU supports all operator panel functions as well as the ability to download robotics and drive firmware, and also upload error and event log information. This feature is required when a Fiber Channel drive feature is installed.
