The pSeries HPS switch-only frame is delivered with a four-inch extender installed. The four-inch extender can accommodate up to two pSeries High Performance Switches and their associated switch cables. If you are going to configure more than two switches into the frame, the increased cable load requires a twenty-four inch extender. Before you can install the twenty-four inch extender, the four-inch extender must be removed.
