This switch is ideal to leverage existing investment in 10/100 Ethernet server farms with Gigabit network connectivity, while offering further investment protection with future expandability to Gigabit server farms. The ServerIronGT E2404CF switch delivers up to 50,000 Layer-4 connections per second including data transfer, or Dos protection against up to 1.2 million TCP SYN attack packets per second.
