Tom Hansen is the president of Elarasys Worldwide LLC, and has held the position since December 2008. Prior to purchasing Elarasys Worldwide with Steve McCarthy, Tom’s career in computer companies and other industries dates back to 1974.

Immediately following college, Tom worked for IBM selling the General Systems Division product line to large accounts. He then sold mini computers to medium-sized businesses for MAI Basic Four. During his time at MAI Basic Four, he moved up from sales representative to sales manager, and finally became branch manager of the Chicago office – the third largest in the country. Tom was also the vice president of Publication Papers at Bradner Smith & Company.

Tom received his undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame. He holds a Masters of Management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
