The Cisco WAE-7326 represents the highest level of performance and availability in the Cisco WAE product line. It uses two powerful Intel Xeon processors and 4 GB of baseline synchronous dynamic RAM (SDRAM) to provide customers with the maximum streaming, content, and file delivery capabilities. The Cisco WAE-7326 supports a minimum of two and a maximum of six internal SCSI hard disks-all front-accessible. For storage expandability and higher caching performance, a Cisco Storage Array 7340 can be connected to the Cisco WAE-7326 external SCSI connector. Optionally the engine can be configured with a Fiber Channel HBA for interfacing with a SAN. The Cisco Storage Array, Fiber Channel HBA, and MPEG decoder cards are available only when using Cisco ACNS Software.
