The Cisco MC3810 series of compact, low-cost multiservice access concentrators provide integration of data, voice, and video onto public or private Frame Relay, Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM), leased line networks or IP networks. They can be configured with these optional voice compression modules to achieve better performance. The following standards for quality voice compression are available: G.723.1 (at 5.3 Kbps), G.729 and G.729a (8 Kbps), or adaptive differential pulse code modulation [ADPCM] (G.726) (32 Kbps).
