The system controller module is the central processing and control system for the Cisco 6100/6130. The system controller module contains all software required to perform the following functions: provisioning, performance monitoring, control, status, management and alarm reporting. The system controller module also manages the alarm contacts on the Cisco 6100/6130 backplane for critical, major, and minor alarms.
