Cisco offers a wide variety of connectivity components to accommodate the range of application needs in customer networks. The network components assure customers that they can choose a connectivity solution that fits their requirements.This module uses interchangeable Gigabit Interface Converters (GBICs) to interface between the network's optical fiber and the module ports. Three GBIC types are available: a 1000BaseSX, a 1000BaseLX/LH, and a 1000BaseZX. All three GBICs use SC-type connectors.
