The G1000-2 Small Form-Factor Pluggable Modules (SFPs) plug into a G1000-2 card to link the port with the fiber-optic network. The type of SFP determines the maximum distance that the Ethernet traffic will travel from the card to the next network device.This module supports the maximum transfer distance of 300 meters on 62.5 micron fiber and 500 meters on 50 micron fiber.
