The OC-3c/OC-3c NI-2 card provides the network OC-3c WAN trunk interface through connectors located on the NI-2 card faceplate. It also provides an OC-3c subtend interface through optical connectors located on the NI-2 card faceplate and it controls timing and redundancy. The OC-3c/OC-3c NI-2 card supports the aggregation of up to 12 subtended node chassis configured for OC-3c operation in a daisy chain configuration.
