The Cisco Media Convergence Server 7822 is a low-cost server platform for Cisco AVVID (Architecture for Voice, Video and Integrated Data). The MCS-7822 is a member of the MCS-7820 series server family and is intended to be a pilot or test platform, as a stand-alone server, or a production server when part of a Cisco CallManager 3.0 server cluster. The MCS-7822 comes with Cisco CallManager software on an automated installation CD to make the deployment of IP telephony simple and cost-effective.
