Cisco Ethernet Subscriber Solution Engine (ESSE) enables service providers delivering optical Ethernet to centrally monitor, configure, and troubleshoot remote deployments of Cisco Optical Network Terminator - ONT 1000 Gigabit Ethernet Series. ESSE provides an aggregated view of each optical-to-copper demarcation point, allowing administrators to determine operational status or remotely troubleshoot issues of an ONT. The Cisco Ethernet Subscriber Solution Engine can scale to support deployments of up to 2000 ONTs and allows administrative access to be partitioned between multiple network operators.
