The Cisco DVB CAR100 is a DVB compliant cable access router (static) or "cable modem" between the hybrid fiber coaxial (HFC) network and the Ethernet with one or a number of PCs connected. It enables bi-directional data communication at high bit rates. The Cisco DVB CAR100 is connected to the INA2320 interactive network adapter over the HFC network or to any other DVB/DAVIC compliant head end that has been interoperability tested. The Cisco DVB CAR100 provides an ideal solution for bringing broadband access to residential users and small business environments. It is based on the EuroModem specification.
