The CMP-W-2E module offers improved performances, reliability, and operability. The main feature of CMP-W-2E is related to Multi-bay Management Functionality where one CMP master controls up to 8 CMP slaves; each CMP controls up to 6 shelves into two bays. Each CMP slave carries out a sort of filtering of management information to be reported to CMP master thus confining the internal traffic management in private control bus.
