Cisco's Catalyst 6000 Family Fast Ethernet switching modules offer a number of advanced features that make it easier to migrate to or implement a Fast Ethernet network. The 10/100 Fast Ethernet switching modules support autosensing / autonegotiation to determine the speed and duplex mode of the attached device. All Fast Ethernet switching modules are hot swappable without interruption of the Catalyst 6000 Family switch.
