Catalyst 4224 access gateway switch has twenty-four 10/100 switched Ethernet ports with integrated inline power and advanced quality of service (QoS) features that make it an ideal choice for extending Cisco AVVID (Architecture for Voice, Video and Integrated Data)-based voice-over-IP (VoIP) networks to small branch offices of up to 24 users. The auxiliary VLAN feature places the phones into their own VLANs without the need for end-user intervention. A user can plug the phone into the switch, and the switch provides the phone with the necessary VLAN information.
