The SMB-4-155 is a new back card for the new AXSM-16-155/B front card. The SMB-4-155 provides four STM1 electrical ports per bay, for a total of eight STM1 electrical ports per front card. This card is an electrical version of the OC3 SONET interface and therefore supports intracard and intercard APS.
