The NM-1A-OC3-POM network module provides a high-performance fiber uplink port for Cisco 3800 series integrated services routers.The ATM interface is the small form-factor pluggable (SFP) optical port labeled ATM 0. The optical interface is provided by an SFP module that is inserted into the SFP port. Fiber-optic cables to the network are attached to the SFP module.The network module has three modes of operation. The mode of operation is determined by the SFP module that is used.
