The Sun StorageTek Enterprise Class 4Gb Fiber Channel PCI-X Host Bus Adapter is a high performance 4/2/1 Gbps HBA capable of providing throughput rates up to 1.6 GBps (dual port) in full-duplex mode. The 4Gb FC PCI-X Host Bus Adapter ensures that Sun customers make better use of bus slots in Sun's existing line of high performance PCI X bus based servers by using fewer HBAs to achieve the same capacity as with 2 Gb Fiber Channel HBAs, but now using half the number of bus slots.
