This Cisco 10000 Series ESR 24-Port E1/T1 full-slot line card contains 24 ports, which you can configure as either T1 or E1 interfaces. You can configure each E1 port as one or more interfaces for framed (channelized) operation, or as a single channel for unframed (unchannelized) operation and you can configure each T1 port as one or more interfaces for framed operation.All Cisco 10000 series ESR router line cards are hot-swappable, which means you can remove and replace line cards during system operation. It is not necessary to notify the software or reset the system power.
