The two-port OC-12c/STM-4c ATM Optical Services Module expands the connectivity options for the Cisco 7600 Series Internet routers. The card is ideal for aggregating large enterprise virtual channels and connecting them to an existing ATM infrastructure. This allows ATM-based ISPs to offer wire-speed Internet access via ATM virtual circuits. In addition to high-touch IP service delivery at OC-12 speeds, four Gigabit Ethernet interfaces on the same module offer additional connectivity. This line card uniquely enables service providers to scale network bandwidth and performance while offering a wide range of IP services that may be applied without performance degradation.
