The Cisco 2-Gbps Fiber Channel SFPs are designed to provide cost-effective Fiber Channel connectivity for the Cisco MDS 9000 Fiber Channel switching modules. There are two types of 2-Gbps Fiber Channel SFPs: the Fiber Channel Shortwave SFP (part number DS-SFP-FC-2G-SW) and the Fiber Channel Longwave SFP (part number DS-SFP-FC-2G-LW). Each product offers 1/2-Gbps autosensing Fiber Channel connectivity.
