The Content Engine 7305 is a high-end base model Content Engine that services Internet service providers and large enterprise networks. The Content Engine 7305 supports device mode configuration and can be configured through the ACNS 5.0 software to operate as a Content Engine, a Content Router, or a Content Distribution Manager.Cisco Content Engines with Cisco ACNS software installed accelerate content delivery and optimize bandwidth usage by transparently caching frequently accessed content and fulfilling content requests locally rather than traversing the Internet or intranet to a distant server farm each time a request is made.
