The Sun StorEdge 2 Gb Fiber Channel Host Bus Adapter (HBA) family features the single channel Amber-2 and the dual channel Crystal-2A for PCI-X bus. The high performance Sun HBAs feature on-board RISC processors with the lowest possible CPU utilization and data transfer rates of up to 400 MB/sec per channel in full duplex mode for greater bandwidth. These HBAs are designed for 2 Gb Fiber Channel connectivity applications from the workgroup to the data center.
